If a train vendor or pantry car staff refuses to provide a computerized POS printed receipt, you are legally not obligated to pay for your food. All prices below are government-fixed statutory tariffs.

- •Optional Catering: In Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, and Vande Bharat, meals are optional. If opted out during booking, no catering fee is charged.
- •Rail Neer Bottle: 1 complimentary 1L Rail Neer bottle with napkin is provided in all AC classes of premier trains. Additional bottles cost ₹15 each.
- •Tips are strictly optional: Rail catering attendants are not permitted to demand tips or service charges.
